Saturday December 20th

The snow is still pouring down. It snowed all night last night and hasn't let up today. We didn't make it to the store last night so Chris and I headed out this morning to try to make it to Fred Meyer and Les Schwab for diapers, food, and chains. The roads were still mostly clear and we were able to get everything that we needed. Church was cancelled for tomorrow and we arranged to pick up Kaila early in case this doesn't let up. On our way to pick her up at 4 o'clock it was near blizzard like conditions. We barely made it and we didn't make up our driveway. The van rolled right back out into the road. It took us an hour and one broken chain before we were able to get up the hill to our house.
