KiKi: Next question: What did the Israelites eat that came from heaven?
Me: Manna!
Kai: What's manna?
Dad: It's a rare fruit that's only found in certain parts of the world. It's a cross between a mango and a banana.

Really not any worse than telling the entire Primary that we celebrate Jesus being crucified on Easter.
It's sorta like my Dad. Ask him a question...brace yourself for a volume of information about the theory that led to it, the development of it, and the current world view of it. Then he finishes the whole thing off with something like "that's how I remember it, anyhow". Mom will say, "Now Lyle, do you KNOW that or are you just BULLSHITTING??" Sidebar: How about a Manna daquri? Yum.
Sam - it's exactly like that! And always said with such authority and a straight face! My children need me for one thing at least, to tell them he's b.s.ing at all times.
Beck, thanks for reminding me...I WASN'T TRAUMATIZED ENOUGH ALREADY! That's what sisters are for.
