Friday Flashback - Story Edition

This garage sale kick reminded me of a story from our first place together. We were living in a duplex (next to crazy bird lady, who raised exotic birds in her half of the garage) and all of our joint accumulation of stuff that had moved with us from one apartment to the next over the years was in our garage. It was like a storage unit (or Crazy Kathie's house, who was our sitter when we lived in the duplex) where you have a path between stacks of junk and you can't find anything even if you did need it, which you never will need it, but you don't dare get rid of it, because you don't have any idea what's in it. Chris decided to try to purge some of the trash and was doing his usual method, which is to drag everything out onto the driveway and try to sort it out, then get overwhelmed, give up and throw it all back in the garage. While he was in the middle of the sorting in the driveway phase, a lady was perusing our junk and asked him how much he wanted for the ladies golf clubs. She thought it was a garage sale. I wonder how much he could have got for those clubs. I hated them, they were ugly turquoise things that he had bought from a customer after the guy's wife had died. Ugly AND creepy. I don't have pictures of the "garage sale" so I'm posting the pictures of us moving from the bird duplex to the first house we bought. See how Kai crosses just one eye? Yeah, she still does that.
