Wow. I really don't have a comment. How can this be, when there are legions of people desperate to adopt children in this country alone? This is so sad.

I heard about this shortly after Sarah Palin's first public appearance at the RNC. It made the rounds on the Down syndrome blogs. It is so tragic. I appreciate you taking the time to post this video on your blog and helping raise awareness on this terrible subject. Apparently a law just passed to make these live birth abortions illegal. I believe it is called the IPA (Infant Protection Act). I also appreciate your husband's attitude. And there's nothing like the doctors to make us feel old when we are pregnant and over 35!
OK I guess I read too many blogs because I tried to find where I first heard about this nurse and couldn't find it and so I am not sure if that bill did pass or if I have it confused with this one http://www.patriciaebauer.com/2008/09/25/kennedy-brownback-3/ which is the "Prenatally and Postnatally Diagnosed Conditions Awareness Act". I'll have to do more research and let you know what I find. If this is not illegal than it definitely needs to be!
